Naming rules
A booking name is a short link to one of your booking pages, like orgorg.com/book/with/wayne. Each name exists once on OrgOrg. These rules keep good names open to everyone, and keep guests safe.
Who can hold names
Booking names come with Pro, first come, first served. Your first three names go live right away. We review each name after that by hand before it goes live.
Names you may not use
A name must not break a link or tell guests something false. Thus it may not be a word that OrgOrg links use, or read as OrgOrg's own, like support or sales-demo. It may not pretend to be another person or company, or use a trademark you have no right to. Offensive words are not allowed. When our filter flags a real name, a page can still use the names of its hosts and its organization.
Organization URLs
An admin of an organization on Pro can turn on an organization URL, like acme. Names claimed after that live at orgorg.com/book/with/<name>/at/acme, and each name exists once in the organization, so people at different companies can use the same name. Inside an organization URL, names like sales or support are fine. A company's brand name goes only to an organization that verified that company's domain. An admin can change the organization URL from time to time, or turn it off. The old links keep working for a grace period, then stop, and we tell each person whose links move. When it is off, those names are released.
Changing or removing a name
When you give a page a new name, or remove its name, the old link stops working right away. Update the places where you shared it. Your page keeps working at its normal link.
Unused names
When a name has had no bookings for a long time, we may give it to someone who asks for it. We decide how long, and we may change it. We may tell you first and give you time to object. Your page keeps working at its normal link.
Misuse
When a name is used to deceive guests, to collect information under false pretenses, to spam, or to harass, we may reclaim it at once and suspend the account.
When Pro ends
We may give your names a grace period, at our discretion, to support continuity for your guests. During it, a name keeps working, then forwards to its page's normal link, and we keep it for you. If Pro comes back during that time, your names return to their pages.
Asking for a name, or reporting one
Ask for a taken name from the claim dialog. Report a page from the link at the bottom of any booking page, or write to support@orgorg.com. A person at OrgOrg reviews each one.
