vsCalendlyThe free Calendly alternative
OrgOrg vs Calendly · Meeting scheduling
Free for teams of up to 5. Every app, no feature gates, no credit card. Past 5 people, Pro is $10 per member per month.
Calendly is the default booking link: one page, one purpose, free for one event type and $10 to $16 per seat a month after that. OrgOrg's booking pages cover the same ground for a team that also wants the directory, go links, on-call, and the rest of the suite, free for up to 5 people. This page lays out the honest tradeoffs.
When OrgOrg is the right pick
Teams that book ordinary meetings and would rather not buy a seat per person in a second product to do it. OrgOrg's booking pages sit beside the people directory and the team calendar, so the page a colleague books is the profile they already opened. It is the right pick when scheduling is a feature of your workspace, not a department.
When Calendly is the right pick
Anyone who needs scheduling and nothing else, and anyone whose scheduling is the revenue path. Calendly gives routing forms that qualify a lead before it books, payments on the booking, automated reminders by email and text, and a decade of integrations. A sales team that lives in its scheduling tool should buy the tool built only for that.
Where OrgOrg wins
- Free for five people, with every app included. Calendly's free plan is one event type, and its round-robin scheduling starts on the $16 Teams plan.
- Round-robin and collective pages are included at every seat, not gated to a higher tier.
- Booking sits next to the directory, the org chart, and the team calendar, so a booking page has a person and a team around it.
- Google and Microsoft calendars run the same booking path, so a mixed-provider org sets up once.
- Buffers, slot increments, minimum notice, advance windows, and a daily cap are page settings, not plan upgrades.
Where Calendly wins
- Routing forms on the Teams plan: a form qualifies the booker and sends them to the right person or page. OrgOrg has no equivalent.
- Payments on a booking through Stripe and PayPal from the Standard plan. OrgOrg takes no money on a booking.
- Automations from the Standard plan: reminders and follow-ups by email and text, with 250 SMS credits per seat a month.
- Native mobile apps, a browser extension, and an API on every plan, with webhooks on the paid plans.
- Team analytics, a cancellation policy, and up to six calendars per user on the paid plans.

Calendly plans, as its pricing page lists them
Read on 2026-10-31 at Calendly's pricing page. OrgOrg has one price: Free for teams of up to 5. Every app, no feature gates, no credit card. Past 5 people, Pro is $10 per member per month.
| Plan | Price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, always free | One event type, one calendar connection, one-on-one scheduling, a booking page, the browser extension, the mobile apps. |
| Standard | $10 per seat a month, billed yearly | Unlimited event types, up to six calendars, automations and reminders, Stripe and PayPal, collective events, analytics, a cancellation policy. |

The monthly-billing prices are behind a toggle the page does not render in its text. New users start with a two-week trial of Teams Plus and move to Free after it. Calendly stopped selling its Essentials and Professional plans to new customers in December 2024.
How to move from Calendly to OrgOrg
A booking page moves in an afternoon: the event types become pages, the availability rules become page settings, and the old link forwards to the new one for a month.
- List the event types. For each Calendly event type, note the length, the hosts, the availability window, the buffers, the minimum notice, and the daily cap. On a paid plan, export the scheduled meetings as CSV for the record.
- Connect the calendars. Each host connects Google or Microsoft 365 once. A booking page then reads the host's busy times from the same connection the team calendar uses.
- Create the booking pages. One page per event type, with the length, the slot increment, the buffers, the minimum notice, the advance window, and the daily cap. A team page gets a routing mode of round robin or collective, with required and optional hosts.
- Replace the links. Put the new page link in email signatures, the website, and the profiles. Keep the Calendly link live for a month as a forward, or set its page to the new address.
- Book a test meeting, then let the plan lapse. Book a slot as a guest, reschedule it, and cancel it, and check that each email arrives. Then let the Calendly subscription end at its term.
The verdict
Calendly is the better pick when scheduling is the revenue path or the whole job: routing forms, payments, reminders by text, native apps, and a decade of integrations are worth $10 to $16 per seat. OrgOrg is the better pick when booking is a feature of the workspace: round-robin and collective pages on every seat, Google and Microsoft on one path, and the directory, go links, and on-call in the same suite. The suite is free for up to five people and $10 per member a month after that.
